Veedersburg - News of the death of Mrs. Helen Curry, 78, which occurred at her home in Austin, Tex., has been received by local friends. A native of Veedersburg, she was born April 25, 1889, a daughter of William and Clara Smith Mallory. Her father was postmaster at Veedersburg for several years. The family had lived in Texas for many years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Amelia Buchanan of Austin, Tex., and a brother, Frank Mallory of Dallas, Tex. Funeral services were held in Austin on Friday with burial at Port Lavaca, Tex.
